Redevlopment steals piece of Sydney's culture

"Australia's urban landscape is changing dramatically. As our cities grow, new developments are springing up, replacing heritage buildings. And when the old buildings go, a piece of our culture goes with them.An old-fashioned boxing gym in inner-city Sydney will soon be gutted and redeveloped as units. It's no shining steel and mirrors affair, the Glebe Estate Community Centre is one of the last old-style boxing gyms left in Sydney. But as David Mark reports, boxing champions, rugby league and union players, Pat Rafter, and even the international media mogul Rupert Murdoch have trained there. ..."
